You’ll be picked up from your Marrakech hotel or riad and taken to Chouf l’Or restaurant for a three-hour Moroccan cooking class. With chefs such as Mourad, Amine, Ahmed, or Abdul, you’ll prepare tagine, salad, and orange dessert, then eat your meal and receive a certificate.

Join Kawtar, Khmisa and local Moroccan cooks for a market walk and hands-on class in an intimate Marrakech riad. Shop for fresh ingredients, learn the mint tea ritual, prepare several salads, tagines and dessert, then eat together and receive the recipes by email.

Meet Chef Khmisa and Kawtar at Bab Doukkala Mosque, walk through a local souk for fresh ingredients, learn mint-tea ritual and Moroccan cooking in a traditional Medina home, then sit down to a shared starter, main course, and dessert. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

This tour doesn’t visit the market in the afternoon (you get fresh veggies in the morning), but we got to work on lots of techniques and talk. In the end, all the food was DELICIOUS. Join Abdo or Abdul for a three-hour, hands-on Moroccan cooking class in a traditional home near Riad Les Etoiles Berberes. Prepare bread, tagines, salads, dessert, and mint tea while hearing local stories. The class costs $24, welcomes beginners, and can adapt the menu for dietary needs.

Meet your dada, a traditional Moroccan cook, at La Maison Arabe near the medina. With help from an Arabic, English, or French translator, you prepare fresh local ingredients at your own station, learn tea and bread techniques, and eat the meal you make. Choose a one-hour tagine class or a three-hour menu.

Meet Olasurf Essaouira near Hotel Al Jazira for a two-hour lesson with an instructor such as Ismail, Tahir, or Zakaria. You’ll warm up on the beach, learn board and safety basics, practice standing, then work on real waves with equipment, lockers, and a hot shower included.
